About Fotona™ Tight

Fotona™ Tight is a non-surgical, gentle skin tightening procedure that heats the sub-dermal tissue with a powerful long pulsed Nd:YAG laser. How It Works

The Fotona™ tightening treatment utilizes Nd:YAG energy to generate a thermal effect in the dermis to improve elasticity and stimulate the production of collagen. The increase of collagen production can address fine lines, wrinkles and laxity resulting in a smoother, tighter appearance over time. How does the Fotona Tight tighten my skin?: This gentle but powerful treatment addresses skin laxity by deep dermal heating to tighten the existing collagen while stimulating the production of new collagen.
Will my skin be immediately tight after the treatment?: As this is a non-surgical solution to skin laxity the results vary from person to person. Some clients report an initial feeling of tightness immediately after the treatment however the process of collagen production can take up to 3 months to occur.
Is it a painful treatment?: Not at all! this technology creates the right amount of energy needed to create deep dermal heating without the feeling of burning. You will feel a heating sensation as the tissues reach the optimal temperature and then the technician will move to the next area of your face.
Can this treatment be done on the body?: It can; however, we recommend options such as Ultherapy or Thermage for body skin tightening due to the treatment areas being generally larger.
