How It Works

Our dermal enhancements are delivered with Hyaluronic Acid gel fillers, such as JUVEDERM®. Hyaluronic Acid is a clear grey substance that is naturally produced by your body. As we age this production slows down, for some people that reduction is faster than others, which is why we don’t all age at the same pace.

With precise placement we can fill volume deficiencies, redefine a jawline, straighten a nose, eliminate a sunken look and minimize under eye hollows – and so much more. We apply the safest injection techniques, including the use of the cannula. We also have a magic eraser, heals, should you change your mind – we can turn the Hyaluronic Acid into sugar water.

Amazing service at a beautiful clinic. I got lip fillers done yesterday and it was a great experience! I had a consultation with Theresa beforehand to talk about the procedure and answer any questions I had. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and informative. She answered all my questions about other procedures I was looking into as well and talked me through them with complete transparency of what to expect. Dr. Brock came in soon after to offer more information and explain how the injections would be done. I was given additional time to numb since I’m more resistant to anesthetic and the whole procedure was nearly painless. He only made 4 little pokes on each side of the lips instead of a lot of little injections all around the lip which was WAY more comfortable. During the filling he was kind and attentive. You can immediately tell he has a lot of experience and is professional. Today I have almost no swelling! And my lips are soft and plump with no little lumps anywhere. They look completely natural.

This is one of the best decicions I have ever made in my 44 yrs of existence. The staff in the clinic were all friendly and accommodating! The procedure I had was done in only half an hour. I must say Dr. Rowthorn has the lightest and caring hands whilst performing the procedure. Now, I can say goodbye to tons of products and make-up I used to camouflage my bags. FAQs

I am getting married next year. When should I have my dermal filler treatments?: In our experience most patients report that their dermal filler results look the best about 2 – 3 weeks after their initial treatment. This allows for any bruising and/or swelling to be resolved and time for any touch ups if necessary.
I want to look natural, is that possible?: Absolutely! We truly specialize in the natural look. Our goal is for you to receive compliments about how refreshed you look, not questions about how much filler you had.
I am scared of needles. Does it hurt?: Comfort is of the upmost importance at our Vancouver clinic. We pre-numb the area with one of the most powerful, yet safe, numbing creams. If you are anxious we also offer nitrous oxide (the famous laughing gas) to help you giggle through your appointment.
What if I don't like the results?: The beauty of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers is that we can dissolve it with a solution called Hylase! This mimics the natural enzyme you have in your body, that turns the filler into sugar water and it is naturally expelled out of your body.
