HOW IT WORKS

Sofwave™, generates heat at the depth of 1.5mm in the mid-dermis using Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ technology. An integrated cooling mechanism, Sofcoo™, protects the uppermost skin layer from burning. 

The treated areas stimulate a healing response, which regenerates collagen fibers, improving the overall appearance of the skin. 

With Sofwave™, we reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and lift the eyebrows, neck, and submental areas.

FAQs

Will I need to take time off with Sofwave™? 

Sofwave™ is an in-clinic treatment that has minimal downtime. Most clients resume their daily activities directly after the treatment. If you choose to partake in one of our comfort measures, we do recommend going home and resting after your treatment.

I had a facelift 8 months ago, can I do Sofwave™ now? 

Yes. Many plastic surgeons recommend treating the face with Sofwave™ once healed from the facelift. A facelift pulls the skin tight but does not stimulate healthy collagen production.

Can I combine injectables with Sofwave™?

Sofwave™ treatments can be combined with fillers and other injectables. This is a popular combination for a lot of our patients.

Is it a painful treatment? 

Sofwave™ treatments can be tolerated with over the counter pain medication however we do offer stronger medication to ensure your optimal comfort and to allow us to provide the best treatment possible.

How long does a Sofwave™ treatment last?

Results cannot be guaranteed as each person’s response to the energy will be different, however clinical studies show that around 90% of patients showed a measurable effect 6 months after their treatment and can last up to 2 years! The ideal candidate is one with mild to moderate laxity.
