HOW IT WORKS

The HALO™ fractional resurfacing laser is made up of two main functions of ablative wavelengths and non-ablative wavelengths to deliver a fully customizable treatment for each and every single one of your visit!

While the ablative function will treat deeper into the dermis and naturally stimulate production of new collagen, reverse deep sun damage and diminish vascular visibility; the non-ablative function will target the top lay of the skin and diminish the look for enlarged pores, even skin tone, improve texture and soften fine lines. 


These functions can be used in conjunction to create a deep and thorough treatment, or the ablative wavelength can be omitted to deliver a light yet effective treatment for those with busy lifestyles and less downtime!

FAQs

Does the Halo hurt?

At Vancouver Laser, we offer a variety of comfort measures such as topical numbing cream, laughing gas or narcotics to ensure that you are at ease during your treatment. Most patients describe this treatment as comfortable with mild tingling sensation.

How many treatments do I need?

It is recommended to complete a series of 2-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Each person may vary depending on the level of concern, however, some patients have see results after their first treatment.

When will I see results?

Results can vary from person-to-person, but you should see an improvement after a few months post treatment and progressively overtime – especially when you complete the recommended sessions.
