Dr. Trainor completed a six-year medical program in Ireland. While there she fulfilled one of her life goals, completing the Dublin marathon. Upon returning to Canada, she practiced in rural Manitoba before coming home to Vancouver. In addition to her 10 year career in family medicine & hormone health, Dr Trainor is a North American Menopause Society-certified practitioner and has studied with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She loves to work with patients on improving their well-being through a combination of conventional and integrative medicine models. This intuitively led her to the world of aesthetics.
Through the experiences of her own patients, Dr Trainor realized that aesthetics improved confidence and was complementary to her practice of enhancing wellbeing. Having studied under Dr. Martin Braun, the Medical Director of the Vancouver Laser and Skin Care Centre, Dr Trainor brings an educational, detail-oriented aesthetics eye with a focus on patients feeling their best and looking refreshed. Outside of the office, Dr. Trainor enjoys a balanced life that includes hiking, fitness training and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
